Artist's Play Room #35

This last week brought a spectacular conglomeration of artwork. All the sunsets that came in are wonderful, colorful, creative and exquisite. Because of all your heaps of positive affirmations to me about my own sunset, I'm thinking I might just do a series of these as ATC's or small paintings. So many of you said it reminded you of a stained glass piece so that's what I plan on naming the series. It'll be my first series, and isn't it cool that it'll be inspired by you my loyal participants of APR. :o) Here are the great piece from this week's theme of SUNSETS. Ahh, you lovely, creative people. (I do apologize that I don't have time to comment on each piece, swamped with AEDM and work for Featuring!)

Oh, and by the way, you guys are getting so adept at using the Mr. Linky, there were no broken links at all this week! (although, any broken link is NO problem, easy peasy to fix!)

I admit it. I am a Christmas-aholic. I start shopping for presents in August. I begin the unique Christmas ornament that I make yearly by September. Baking and Christmas menus are planned by mid October and we start collecting ingredients right after Halloween. The actual baking starts about mid November, freezer friendly recipes please! We are "lucky" to stave off the tree until December 1st. The Christmas holiday is our family's most favorite time of the year.

So, even though most of you probably think I'm crazy, it's that time of YEAR... CHRISTMAS IS COMING!!!! So, I thought I'd be a helper elf and give you a little push to start early. This week's theme is CHRISTMAS. I figure you can get started making your Christmas cards or you could make some of your Christmas presents, hey, get creative. Here are some wonderful examples to get your artistic need going...

I look forward to seeing your creativity. Let the spirit of the upcoming Christmas Season fill your heart and inspire your hands. Either that or just think how ahead you'll be in comparison to all your friends?? Now THAT'S inspiring! Hehehe.

Best,

I'm still participating in AEDM and will be posting again today with another piece of art. If you'd like to see all my submissions to CreativeEveryday.com so far, just click here! Hope you all are having a wonderful and productive weekend. Talk soon, K?
