Believe

I've been working diligently to make glass lockets for my Etsy shop. For a while I was remiss in keeping it up but now I'm a little more on the ball. This week's APR challenge theme is "illustrate a word" and I decided to take the opportunity to make another glass locket! Hey, any opportunity to combine things and cut down on time. The word I chose was BELIEVE.

Words have always meant a lot to me. There are a few very special books that I've read over the years that have changed me. Heinlein's "Time Enough For Love" and "Friday", Richard Bach's "Jonathan Livingston Seagull" and Zenna Henderson's "The Anything Box" and "Holding Wonder". In Holding Wonder one of the short stories is called The Believing Child. I loved that phrase, I was a believing child, I believed in the Universal good. I still use that as my most basic foundation. I thought I'd look up some of my favorite quotes about belief for you to enjoy...
