We're into APR #12, quite amazing, isn't it? We've been getting together here for 12 weeks! (Scroll down to see this week's theme) It's been such a pleasure getting to know you all and your art. Last week's theme was "Magnify" and I suggested looking at your subjects more closely and capture the details close up. We got a great collection of artwork, I found this week's theme especially enjoyable. Here's mine and all the other terrific participants from last week.

Victoria
PS: I don't know how to zentangle but I look forward to the posts!
I'm so glad I am finally in the game! ;)
ReplyDeleteLove your flower and I'm going to try and get to each of the entry blogs so I can appreciate their work more fully. Some I already follow, but maybe I can meet some new folks, too. :)
Wow, your flower is so beautiful, you can almost see it swaying in the breeze. It is so delicate and I love the colours in the background.
ReplyDeleteBut, seriously Jenn, zentangles, are you trying to completely destroy my eyesight. I can feel some sore eyes coming on, as zentangles and a half blind blonde do not mix, much as I love them.
Now, where's my magnifying glass:)
Von.
Your daisy is just wonderful! I love it. The zentangles are so much fun to look at:) Have a great day! FranT
ReplyDeleteAmazing Daisy Jenn, I love everything about it ;D
ReplyDeleteYou have quite a band of extremely talented artist in you're Playroom.
I've received such encouragement from so many ~ what a special bunch they are.
Thanks for hosting and I didn't visit last week but I'll make up for it this week I hope. Hugs Neesie x
Your flower is SO well done, Jenn! And so is your hanging basket. I do apologize for posting and "old" post this week... but I wanted to play, yet me week is - well YOU know - filled with a horse! Haha.
ReplyDeleteHey girlfriend.... Here you have it, my very first Zentangle. Done at your inspiration and challenge, of course. I've got to "hand" it to you (HAHA), you know how to bring out the best in a girl. I hope to live up to your tough standards on art. I'm just an ol' cowgirl from the state (HA) calling myself an "artist" here when really, I'm just a cardmaker. I wish I had one thimble-full of your talent.
ReplyDeleteSmooches to you, from the East...
With love,

Wow, what a great "play room"!
ReplyDeleteMy first zentangle, so please be kind. I'm already frightened off by the wonderful submissions I've looked at.
ReplyDeleteLynn
One I Made Earlier Today
I knew I'd do it wrong to begin with - but I have now uploaded my first zentangle - like Lynn above, TeRRified - but it was enjoyable and I'm sure I will do more :0)

Jennifer, I do no know whether my painting can really be called a 'tangle' though it does have some repetitive circles, squiggles etc...I linked it up and, as usual thought about it only afterwards! Hope it's ok.
ReplyDeleteI should thank you for the visit. :-)
I love Zentangles and consider Sandy Steen Bartholomew, Beez in The Belfry author, one of my blogging friends. Not only is her work outstanding, but she is one of the kindest artists I know. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteHello, all. I have been out of touch for almost three weeks. I had my Mom visiting and we filled every day with activities and lots of restaurants. We had a good time. Then a few days later an old friend from my teen years and her husband stopped on their way to meet a motor coach cavalcade out West. We also packed a lot into their 4 day visit! I woke up the next day with a cold and pink eye! it must have been from the visit to the Brookfield Zoo the day before, tons of children. Jenn, my entry was done awhile ago but it is a ZIA, so hope it is okay. I saw your wonderful Chopsticks ZIA on your blog. Really beautiful! Your wonderful colorful flower, too!
