Bubble Gum!

I decided to do the challenge from Mr. Toast's Creative Tuesdays. Every other Tuesday he posts a creative challenge concept/word for his artist friends to illuminate. This upcoming Tuesday the theme is Bubblegum. He did actually specify...
"And, yes, you'll have to actually show gum — packaged, stretched or blown, not simply someone chewing it in their mouth where one can't clearly see it depicted!"
Title: "Memories of Childhood"

Title: "Don't Swallow The Seeds!"

So, here comes Tuesday. I can't wait to see his next challenge topic. Such fun. I love how colorfully the bubble gum turned out. Both bookmarks are on sale in my Etsy shop for $7.50 each. They remind me nostalgically of my childhood. The innocence of filling one's mouth with yummy tasting gum and learning how to blow the perfect bubble (just don't let it pop and get in your long blonde hair, been there, done that!)

We'll talk soon... or, I'll talk, you'll read, lol. Soon is the point, though. For serious as my friend Joy the Baker would say, I just love her way of blogging. Go check her out, she makes delicious food and she's funny and cool to boot! Here's a quote from a recent post, she just makes me smile, laugh and agree.
"Here’s another important truth for me:  Always sign up for adventure.  Always say yes.  Even if it’s terrifying to the core of your soul.  That means you’re doing the right thing.  You’re learning and growing and shoving yourself right out of your comfort zone.    Unless… well, unless there are guns and heists.  In that case… stay in your comfort zone and away from guns.
Also… before you forge forward.  Have breakfast (preferably with chocolate) and pack cookies."
Talk to y'all soon!
Best,

Thanks for sharing your story on my post. How neat to have a bubblegum machine for friends.

My husband is a retired Pastor, and he had a gum machine in his study at the church and the kids loved it.
