Yes, I know I didn't participate in my own Artist's Play Room for the second time in as many weeks. Yes, I'm still sick, thank you to all of you who are asking as to my health. Yes, because I've been sick I'm dog tired and because of that I'm so bloody behind in the stuff of life along with my duties for Featuring that I'm feeling like I'm drowning. Today is my "I'm gonna catch up if it kills me" day. I don't care how tired I am or how much I just want to sleep. I can't STAND the pressure that I feel having so much chaos in my life. I'm not good with pressure and chaos. I figure if I can get the thousand and one things on my to do list down to only five hundred or so then I can take a couple days and force myself to get better. For me it's always more sleep that does it. It just seems that the flu this year is especially ugly.
Please forgive me that there is no comments on all your lovely art. I do appreciate your participation.

What the heck are we gonna do art about this week? I was thinking that since it's been so dreary here maybe we need to brighten everything up a little. SO, choose several of the brightest colours that make you totally happy and make something spectacular. Let's bump up the mood. Those of you who are lucky enough to be living in bright and sunny places can choose the colors around you but we who suffer in the horror of grey days and cold weather hopefully will feel the lift of using some fantastic colours. The brighter and inspiring, the better! Here are some examples...
Hope you all enjoy the colorful theme, I promise to get better and actually participate!! Come on back on Monday, there'll be a book review on a terrific book, I LOVED it.

ReplyDeleteGet better soon... nothing worse than winter flus to get you down and not feeling creative...xx
ReplyDeleteJenn, Please take us off the list of things that must be done. If you are sick, you are sick and there is nothing to do about it but get better one day at a time.
ReplyDeleteI appreciate that you even blog long enough to give us a new challenge. Please take care of yourself. Sleep, sleep, sleep. Hope you are better soon.
Off to think on bright colors now!!!
I'm so sorry you're still sick. Please take care and yes - lots of sleep! I'm on a winter hiatus from my blog, but I do enjoy coming and seeing what everyone else is doing. I've been so busy with work that I haven't been painting much lately. I hope things settle down for me soon and I get back to blogging in the spring. Feel better soon!!

The lousy flu bug has been in this house too, so we fully sympathise. Hope you are back up to speed soon. Thank you for all your work on APR. Hope you will like what's happening in my room

I'm so sorry you're still under the weather; you really should be taking time to get better instead of coming on here. But as you have, thank you so much for getting the strength to give us a new challenge, I do hope we come up to scratch and manage to cheer you up a little. Mo :0) x
ReplyDeleteOh Jenn you poor thing, this dreaded lurgy is hanging on too long.
ReplyDeleteMaybe you should just give in for a week or so and then see how you feel. Sometimes the chaos can feel like drowning, I'm not sick but I feel I'm only just treading water hence I haven't entered the play room this week...but I'm here to see the gang and what they've been up to.
I committed to a blog party a few months back which is underway so am busy with that for this week.
If you manage to nip over to me before the end of January and leave a quick comment I can pop you in the giveaway draw.
Take care my friend and I wish you the best of health to return soon.
