Anyway, this week our theme was CHRISTMAS, I was hoping to help you all get going on your cards, presents and general spirit of the season. We got some really great submissions and I"m thinking that you all have the makings of some great Christmas cards!!
Mary Walker Designs has done a sweet Christmas card-like painting of a homemade scene. | Susan has made a really beautiful Christmas card of an old homestead in a rural setting, gorgeous. | My painting used a few pine bows and those shiny Christmas balls! |
Twinkletoes has taken a photo of her delicious looking mincemeat jars. Do you think she'll share? | Sharon has started making her Christmas cards too and aren't these bears just the cutest?? | Tracey wrote this post & painted this for her husband's birthday. He does the ironing, what a great husband!! |
Gloria did some brilliant cards using traditional Christmas fare and zentangles!! Cool! | Andrea has painted a beautiful zendala snowflake, I'm loving the blues, gorgeous! | Currie has entered a photo she took in 2009 of this angelic little boy opening his present. |
Darla has rendered this simple yet powerful line drawing of an angel. | Cindy has painted this adorable showman with his fluffy little bunny friend. She's giving it away so go comment & win! | Janice has sketched this lovely little bird that graced her garden. She has an amazing collection of photos of that garden. |
Sandra has done a beautifully traditional nut cracker christmas card. So great. | Debbie has submitted a gorgeous christmas angel. I love angels in all their forms. | Arnoldo has created an adorable little angel with big eyes, so expressive. |
Rita did some gorgeous christmas balls and she's inspired me to add sparkle to the christmas cards I printed last night! | Stephanie has done a brilliant job of making faux gingerbread cookies. They look delicious! | Molly has done up a santa hat and warned us to keep believing or we'll get awful presents! |
Are you having trouble using the Mr. Linky to add your submissions to APR? Well here's some help! Just click on HELP and you'll be taken to my Linky Help Page. Cool, huh? I've got your back!
Of course, if you live anywhere other than the USA feel free to stretch, cajole and utterly mangle this challenge into something that'll fit you. Have at it peoples!! (enjoy, it's the second last APR of 2012!!)

Hi Jenn,
ReplyDeleteI must say again, I'm so happy I found you! It was so nice to see my little snowman showcased on your blog! My first link is more autumn than Thanksgiving...but I'm going to paint something else Thanksgiving themed and link it up also! So much fun!
Hugs, Cindy
Hi Jenn, although my painting this week is from last year, I think it is perfect for the challenge. I was thinking of either an abstract turkey, or a cornucopia, but you stole that one! Have a great week. I am glad we are taking a break, I tend to get frazzled over the holidays!
ReplyDeleteWishing everyone a Happy Thanksgiving if they celebrate and a Happy Thursday in any case.
