Artist's Play Room #26

This last week there was a huge number of entries into The Artists Play Room. It's the second largest group we've had at twenty-six, the highest week was twenty-nine participants and it's theme was color too! The colors explode off the screen this week as everyone picked different colors as their favorite. My blog has never been so colorful! The quality of art is also stellar, as always. Oh, and just before I show your work in all it's splendor, I want to welcome the new members to APR, there have been a good handful of new artists joining up, which makes me very happy. Welcome newbies. Everybody wave from their respective places of residence! Ok, here we go...

Dion has a new series
called "When Artists
Cook", as you can see
you get both great art
AND recipes!!

Tracey's favorite color is
BLORANGE, go to her
post and make up your
fave color combo. Purrty!

Sandee's favorite colors
are the pastels, she likes
all the soft, dreamy
ones which she's used here.

Debbie's fave color is purple.
She did these fantastic
fuchsias in beads and they
looks amazing. Fuchsias are
one of my favorite flowers.

Currie's favorite color is
rainbow! She's done a diptych
of undersea life in all the
colors of the rainbow.

Terri's post this week is all about
kindness and is worth the read.
I'm guessing she loves pastels
like Sandee does.

Andrea loves pink, purple,
blue & green in the soft
shades. That's what she
used to create this Great
Mother semi abstract.

Vonny did this beautiful
undersea painting a while
ago but she loves the
colors under the sea. I would
to if I could paint like this.

Alice's favorite color is PINK,
well, you're my kinda girl Alice!
She did a sweet watercolor
painting of LOVE. :o)

Hadiyah's favorite color
is all of them as you
can see in this textural
abstract. So gorgeous.

Catharina didn't tell me
her favorite colors but
this piece sure is beautiful.
I love how loose it it.

Darla's favorite colors are
light aqua and a rosy brown.
She's made the cutest card
for a lucky friend. Sweet.

Serena has a great start on her
latest mandala painting using
her favorite colors, purple,
lime and turquoise, YAY!

Victoria loves all colors, rich
and vibrant, which shows
in her beautiful photography.
Always great composition.

Gloria loves all the colors and
was playing with her new
Luminarte paints here. What
a beautiful landscape!

Teri loves purple, blue and teal
She has started a timepiece of
her 50th year using her
favorite colors. So creative.

Twinkletoes has done a great
tag depicting her love of all
things green.You're preaching
to the choir on that selection!

Arnoldo has done a tag
depicting the circus &
as you can see, he loves
all colors. So cute!

Ritu loves all colors, as
she says, the colors of
life. This depicts just that.

Minn loves burnt sienna and
prussian blue, as you can
see in this stunning painting
of a neglected old woman.

Neesie loves BLUE, I love her
little birdie in blue, I can hear
it tweeting at me, telling me
to hurry up and throw the
birdseed!

Red's Kathy's favorite color at
the moment and she used it
to it's best advantage to paint
this superlative piece. WOW.

My favorite colors, as you
know are turquoise, lime
& fuchsia. BUT I really
love ALL colors.

This week I thought I'd pick a word that we all can be inspired by. That word is "JUICY". How does juicy make you feel? What do you think when I say JUICY? Anything from gum to strawberries, from lipgloss to the female form, juicy makes me think of a whole plethora of different objects and edibles. So, paint me something juicy! Have at it, go surprise me!
