Although Von was lamenting that she's not sure what inspires her, I think right now she's inspired by cute fur!! ;o) | I'm inspired by so many things but Tracey's quote right now is so helping me learn what kind of artist I want to be. | Gloria is inspired by so many things, including new lessons and art supplies. This painting is the result! |

Currie is inspired by her process, creating is inspirational to her because it reminds her she is an artist. | Serena is inspired, among other things, nature, as you can see in this lovely hibiscus. I've wanted to do one, I think I will! | Lisa is inspired by layers, whispers and hints of what lies beneath. She takes pleasure in painting over layers, creating a history in the painting. |

I've been traveling and haven't been able to participate... but I've planned out art from every theme I've missed. I'll be doing them in the next couple weeks, along with keeping up with the challenges now that I'm home again.
ReplyDeleteHey Jenn -- I've been so busy this summer; I haven't been around in a while, glad to join y'all again. I did a lot of traveling this summer. How about you? Great News on Featuring. My favorite color is pink. I'm creating art tomorrow and I'm so excited; between Pinterest, Twitter to my blog and a new look, I'm teched out!! Glad for Artist's Play Room Blessings Terri

Gee Jenn, I wonder what colour you will be doing (he he).

You're right - there's a wealth of variety and talent represented last week - and look at all those inspiration sources! Now this week - fave color - hmmmm, that sure leaves the field wide open, doesn't it? I just have to get my brain to settle....settle. :)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous inspiration from last week. And I'm loving the color red...as in tomato red...xx
ReplyDeleteredgreenblueorangepinkyellowblackwhitepurple...sigh....lol
ReplyDeleteI like this! I´m now a follower! See you!
ReplyDeleteWhile my eye is generally attracted to Granny Smith apple green, it is NOT a favorite when I paint. (Not sure why not... just isn't.) My brush tends to gravitate strongly toward the combination of Burnt Sienna and Prussian Blue instead!
ReplyDeleteI really love all colors, but I picked my absolute favorite for this challenge. I also combined it with last week's challenge for inspiration since I didn't finish in time! :)
ReplyDeleteDarn! I linked the wrong post! While I do like grey very much... it's not what I did for the challenge. :-(
ReplyDeleteScraping in jUSt under the wire this week.
ReplyDeleteMy favourite colour and one of my favourite tags by virtue of the sunlight catching the beads and the shadow it casts under the large butterfly.
Some awesome works of art around here again this week. Thanks for the challenge Jenn. :0)
Wow, lots of people this week! So nice to see. I hope to get around to everyone. I always love color, but couldn't pick one, so at the last minute did a greeting card using my favorite colors. Thanks again, Jenn for suggesting a prompt to inspire us.
ReplyDeletePhewph...made it Jenn,
ReplyDeleteSorry it's the last minute AGAIN! ;D
I've got so much visiting to do but loving the idea of catching up with everyone and all their art!
You're doing a brilliant job of keeping me and my mojo on track...he's so busy he hasn't thought about moving on again!
Have a wonderful weekend whatever you have planned ~ enjoy :D
xoxo
I love all colors, so I used them all. Can't wait to look at everyone's entries. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteWell, this week it is RED! But that could change at any moment...
