Artist's Play Room #23

This last week we all got to laugh, chuckle and smile wide smiles because the theme for APR was "Make Me Laugh!". I adore all the artwork this week, as I know many of you struggled to come up with something humorous to make art about. Thanks for enduring and pushing through to join up this week. The effort was well worth it because each of you made me smile, smirk and laugh out loud. Thanks, I needed that, ;o)

Ok, let's see all the funnies!!

Twinkletoes has used an
old fashioned postcard to
make us laugh, the idea on
the postcard was so risque.

Vonny did the cutest cow
painting of four of her
good friends, of which
I'm thrilled to be one!
(wearing the maple leaves)

Gloria did a saucy little postcard
about her heroine's choice in men,
like her cocktail, neat with a twist.
Wink, wink...;o)

I thought Sunny's idea
to collage a kookaburra
sitting in an old gum tree
was brilliant, laugh kook-
aburra, laugh!!

Bonnie used some of
her favorite ATC's from
a friend to make her
funny collage.

Rita drew a bug on a
windshield, she made
me laugh with it's
sentiment, ;o)

Minn has done a portrait of
yours truly hopped up on
my hazelnut coffee, lol. I sit
herw and laugh as I drink, what?
HAZELNUT COFFEE!!

I did forks, as an homage
to my University friend
who actually wrote a
play about this topic!

Catherine has done a lovely
painting of a whispering
couple, is he telling her a
juicy joke??

Neesie has done a tongue-in-
cheek homage to the Artist's
Play Room, Love it Neesie!
That's one cute moose. ;o)

Arnoldo has done a postcard
what expresses all traveler's
frustrations, HELP with the
DARN LUGGAGE!!!

Currie has submitted a cute
picture of her dog as a puppy.
She loves her very much.

This week, how about we illustrate a word for our challenge theme? Obviously you can pick any word and once again, fairly obviously, you don't have to actually draw the word or the thing the word represents. Just, you know, pick a word you like... for instance, "LOVE", and create something that would make you think of that word, lol. If you want to be literal and use the actual word in your art or even draw the thing the word represents, go for it. Like "A is for Apple would be cool! There's never any rules, really. Just let the theme inspire you to create something you're pleased with. Remember, you don't have to be great, just create! (In the examples I've added the word I was trying to represent underneath the art.)
