Title: "Blackberry Jam" This drawing was such fun to work. I really had to struggle to get each round berrylet to stand out from it's neighbor, and that made for some struggling work. That's what made this piece so enjoyable! |

Rachana has sketched some horse heads, very well rendered and the proportion is great. | Arnoldo has done a combination drawing and collage entitled "Midnight Summer Dance". Very expressive. | Tracey drew cutlery, I always love her choice of subject, making the mundane into artwork! |

Vonny drew a bushel of exquisite tomatos, darkening them must have taken ages. I love them, beautiful. | Sandee has done a well thought out journal page and drawn a true to size nasturtium leaf. Really realistic, I love your whole composition. | He is really adorable and so well captured, Darla. I actually expect him to be purring when I pet him! |

Tracy went back to her roots in childhood when she used to draw cartoons. This is her husband and brother playing with firecrackers, lol. | Virginia has illustrated a terrific quote, go to her site to be inspired! The quote is in my book already. :o) | Rita has sketched her cat Karma sitting on the back of the sofa. I think she captured the lounge of a cat perfectly! |

Ritu has reminded us with her drawing that if we sit quietly that's the way to find happiness, not chase it. So well said and illustrated. | Andrea has captured flying seagulls with perfection. She doesn't know but seagulls are one of my fave birds! Beautiful. | Simona entered her father's sketch into this week's APR, thanks for doing that, it's great! |

Alice did a stunningly colorful drawing in her molesikine then painted it up. Wow, just wow. I can't believe she doesn't think she can draw! | Minn draws elephants so well, they're actually really hard to capture and get the proportions right, these look like they're gonna walk by on your computer screen! |

Kim did a colorful spotted chicken, that's one spectacular looking foul! She makes me laugh. | Angie did a spectacular drawing on colored paper, beautifully rendered, so expressive. | Cindy is trying to learn to draw facial features. I think she did terrifically, the eyes have it for sure! |
Are you having trouble using the Mr. Linky to add your submissions to APR? Well here's some help! Just click on HELP and you'll be taken to my Linky Help Page. Cool, huh? I've got your back!

Hi Jennifer, thank you for another challenge I could manage and it also fulfilled my Tag Tuesday theme too! Bonus! A 'twofer' haha :0)
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing what everyone else does with already so much talent on view :D
Enjoy the rest of your week :0)
What a fantastic selection you have here.
ReplyDeleteBTW, your blog is still coming up on my Google reader, as it did when they supported GFC, so hopefully you will have kept many of your readers.
Love your blackberries, the shadowing and highlights are just perfect! And what wonderful drawings, the variety and skills are amazing. I so wanted to take part again, but I didn't manage to take photos of the quick lunch time ballpoint drawing I made last week. Hope to be able to create something monochromatic before my holiday, it sounds such great fun!
ReplyDeleteMy monochromes are posted. You'll see I had to work and rework this one.
ReplyDeleteAnxious to see what others came up with.
Darla
I had to cheat a little bit...I guess mine is technically duo-chromatic:-)
ReplyDeleteThank you for this opportunity to share our creations in your blog.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
Nora
As we were using one colour on Tag Tuesday this week I have linked my submission to that and my colour is GREEN.
