Scroll down for this week's theme! |
Last week we tackled Zentangles, meditative doodling involving repetitive patterns to create beautiful images. I love doodling/zentangling, it really is very relaxing and I recommend it if you've never tried. There are many tangle sites that will teach you oodles of patterns to get you started. Ok, on to the ART because that's why we're all here.
Here we go!

I love your challenges. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteOH MY that's some inspiration Jenn, I've got a busy week but will try to submit something of the right calibre :$
ReplyDeleteWish me luck!
i am SO not a drawer. i don't have a clue where to start - i don't think any of your readers are going to appreciate my stick people :) BUT i am definitely going to give this a go and try, at least. i found your blog, and this challenge - through your zentangle posts from last week!
ReplyDeleteSince I injured my hand I had to go back into an old sketch book to find and entry - I still wanted to play in the Art Room. You have great challenges.
ReplyDeleteDarla
ok, jenn, you visited my blog a couple days ago, left me a wonderful comment, and invited me to check out the Artist's Playroom. which i did. and i can not believe i actually drew/sketched something and have posted it. i've never done anything like this before - i can not draw - but this was fun! i know it will look supremely amateurish next to the other posts - but i am fine with that. i'm very happy with my first effort - so thanks for inviting me :)
ReplyDeleteOops Jenn, sorry but I didn't get to the challenge this week...but I'll visit everyone's work because they look amazing.
ReplyDeleteI'll try to post some art next week promise! Please forgive me.
Have a wonderful weekend ;D
I almost did not make it this week, but here I am after all with some scratchings...I don't think that is a word... but that's what I'm going to call it anyway:-) Those inspiration-links you posted are incredible, Jenn!
ReplyDeleteJenn,
ReplyDeleteI hope you like my "chicken scratch".
Chickens and Roosters was the challenge at IA this week, but it was your challenge that actually inspired me to try and draw one!
It's a simple drawing, but it was fun and I enjoyed it!!
Have a great week!
Kim
